The roots of this practice
Epigenetic Alchemy Ancestral Counseling is a care practice that I named long after I began to do it. Heart-centered progressives in my life would turn to me for asset-based, theoretically grounded, spiritual-somatic perspectives on the ancestral roots of their challenges. By listening, bearing witness, and offering resources from my areas of expertise, I create a container for embodied ancestral healing.

What to expect
In your intake form, you are invited to share as much as you (consciously) know of your lineage. I will draw upon astrology, history and Africana Studies to contextualize your ancestral legacy.
When we meet, I guide a grounding meditation and physical warm-up before we begin the counseling session. Following your lead, we work through issues of identity, intergenerational trauma, sustainable change work, and vocation as they emerge from your ancestral inheritance.
We close with an InfiniChi® energy therapy session.
You will receive an after-care email with an astrological love letter (only included with market rate tier), resources and practices to support your ongoing healing and empowerment.

You want to connect with your ancestors, but don’t know where to start. After our call, you’ll receive an astrological love letter based on your birth chart along with a curated list of recommended resources to move forward from an asset-based perspective of your inheritance.

Sliding scale, determined per person. Equity rate is $45 per session. Market value is at least $599.
Installment payment plans will be set up for each client who needs them, be paid over a maximum of 12 months.
Seasonal

Three months: You’re ready to dive deep into the the ancestral implications in one specific area of your life: finances, romantic/sexual partnerships, or spirituality. As the sovereign authority in your life, you've determined exactly where you want to focus on being the ancestor your descendants deserve.
Six months: You’re committed to fully overhauling the intergenerational patterns in two areas of your life. You’re willing to feel discomfort, fear and grief in order to fully surface and transform intergenerational patterning. This isn’t a loose interest, “It might be nice“ or “I’d like to work on this.“ We’re going to identify the specific ways that the past is shaping your present in order to get granular in setting realistic goals to measure and iterate towards concrete change.

You’re familiar with the stretch of deep inner work, accountability, and the unknown - and the calling inside you is stronger than any fear. On a body- and soul-level, you’re saying, This stops here. The new legacy begins with me.

So… Is this coaching?
It has some similarities. I don’t call my work life coaching because:
I have not received life coaching. I won’t give what I haven’t received. I am trained in transformational coaching for equity through my work with educators.
The etymology of coach is rooted in carrying another person. I don’t and cannot carry you. As a sovereign being, you don’t need to be carried.
I have received counseling from my teachers Awo Falokun Fasegun Ogunkeye and Iya Fayomi Osundoyin Egbeyemi, as well as peer recovery support and therapy from licensed clinicians, for over a decade.
The etymology of counsel is to gather and give to one another with deliberate thought. It is this practice of mutual listening, sharing, and learning that I find the most beneficial to all.
