This sliding-scale herbal intensive is designed specifically for communities impacted by structural oppression. Covering the 83 essential formulas in the California Acupuncture Licensure Exam, this course mends a tapestry of ancestral wisdom that colonialism severs and racial capitalism commodifies.
Why This Course?
We live in health inequity, and this course is a direct intervention to break down systemic barriers in healing education. By open-sourcing ancestral knowledge, we prevent gatekeeping and return this wisdom to the communities it belongs to.

Acupuncturists, acupuncture students, and those preparing for the California Board Exam
People of the Global Majority (Black, Indigenous, Palestinian, people of color) seeking to reclaim ancestral healing practices
Anyone committed to breaking down systemic barriers to traditional healing
This course welcomes People of the Global Majority on a sliding scale with a suggested minimum donation of $20 per class (no one turned away for lack of funds). Those benefiting from white privilege are specifically encouraged to make a monetary contribution because of the racial aspects of cultural appropriation and gatekeeping. The information covered in this course cost Camellia approximately $5,760, so market rate for each hour of this intensive is about $120. Donations can be made here.
Donations of amounts besides the equity rate and market rate can be made here.
